I have been drinking this coffee for several years, now. And just like the first cup, I am still blown away by the smooth and deep flavor of the Malawi. I view this as my go-to coffee from Redemption Road (and Redemption Road is my ONLY coffee supplier, now). The flavor is dark, complex, ever-so-slightly sweet, and never, ever bitter. My mother-in-law, who swears she hates dark roasts because they are "too strong," loves this coffee - I just don't tell her it's a dark roast. However, my preference IS dark roasts, and this one hits all the right notes for me.
